Acceptable Use & Anti-Fraud Policy

Mandatory rules of engagement safeguarding our educational infrastructure against fraudulent billing, abusive communications, and unauthorized system access.

Zero Tolerance for Fraud & Malfeasance:SchoolFees.NG is engineered exclusively for bona fide educational institutions. We enforce zero tolerance against deceptive invoicing, money laundering, unauthorized data harvesting, or software tampering.

1. Authorized & Permitted Uses

You may use SchoolFees.NG software, web dashboards, and desktop applications solely for lawful educational management purposes, including:

  • Generating genuine academic termly fee invoices and POS receipts for enrolled students.
  • Reconciling parent tuition payments via verified Paystack or dedicated virtual NUBAN channels.
  • Recording academic test and examination scores to produce termly report cards and academic broadsheets.
  • Managing classroom attendance and computing monthly payroll for legitimate school staff.
  • Dispatching polite, educational debt reminders and administrative notices to verified parents.

2. Strictly Prohibited Activities

Under no circumstances shall any user, school administrator, bursar, or third party engage in:

Deceptive & Fraudulent InvoicingIssuing fictitious fee invoices, inflating receipts, collecting unauthorized levies, or creating ghost student records to siphon funds.
Money Laundering & Non-Educational TransfersUtilizing dedicated virtual accounts (DVA) or school paylinks for commercial trade, unlicensed money lending, or illicit funds movement.
Reverse Engineering & CrackingDecompiling, modifying, cracking offline desktop binaries, circumventing license key validations, or tampering with database integrity checks.
Directory Scraping & Data HarvestingUsing automated scrapers, bots, or scripts to extract parent phone numbers, student photos, or financial records for marketing lists.
Abusive & Harassing MessagingDispatching profane, threatening, defamatory, or unsolicited spam SMS / WhatsApp broadcasts through the platform's communications gateway.
Denial of Service & Infrastructure AttacksAttempting to overload, perform volumetric DDoS attacks, brute-force admin logins, or exploit API endpoints.

3. Responsible Vulnerability Disclosure

Encouraging Ethical Security Research:

If you discover a potential security bug or vulnerability within our web portals, desktop software, or API endpoints, we request that you disclose it responsibly to security@schoolfees.ng prior to public disclosure.

We pledge to investigate all legitimate disclosures within forty-eight (48) hours and take no legal action against security researchers acting in good faith under responsible disclosure principles.

4. Monitoring, Suspension & Legal Enforcement

SchoolFees.NG continuously audits system telemetry, payment routing patterns, and failed authentication events. If a violation of this Policy occurs, we reserve the right to:

  • Immediately terminate or suspend the offending user or school administrative account.
  • Freeze payment paylinks and dedicated virtual account routing to prevent financial loss.
  • Forfeit all unused license periods and communication credit balances.
  • Report fraudulent financial activities to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), the Nigeria Police Force, and the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC).

5. How to Report Policy Violations

If you suspect an institution or user is misusing SchoolFees.NG for unauthorized fee collections, spam broadcasts, or fraudulent invoices, report immediately to:
